NOTE: The geocache event is taking place on the opening day of bow-hunting season. Caches have been placed in locations to prevent any user conflicts.

Update: 9-13-2007 NNC placed 20 temp caches on the wildlife area using a Garmin GPS 60. These are in addition to the 8 permanent caches on the wildlife area. Event booklets and maps of the wildlife area (with caches located) will be available Saturday and Sunday. All cache coordinates were entered in to GARMIN MapSource Ver. 3.0 6.10.2 software for downloading from the computer at NNC to compatible GPS units Saturday morning. Saving some time entering coordinates. Temporary caches will remain out for 2 weeks after the event.

Update: 9-14-2007 NNC working on installing EasyGPS software to assist with the downloading of event coordinates. If you plan on downloading coordinates PLEASE bring your data cable if you have one. Saturday lunch will be a choice of BBQ or Hot Dogs, with chips and pop. Coffee and Hot Chocolate will also be available. Meal deals will be range from $3 for a Hot Dog deal to $4 for a BBQ meal deal.
