This wooded area is just too good not to have a cache, so we have left one. Free parking is signposted from the D155 between Dol-de-Bretagne and Antrain. The road goes right through the middle of the Forêt de Ville-Cartier.Until the last 25m the cache search is definitely pushchair-friendly, probably wheelchair-friendly though there are bumps and narrow openings to go through. Please take your time to enjoy this area.
The cache is a square plastic food container approximately 15cm by 15cm, 5cm deep, covered in black tape. From the parking, the co-ordinates above lead you partway round the lake and along the path "Route forestiere de Villey" where you will see a large and distinctive rock 3 metres into the forest. Walk into the forest past the rock for approximately 25 metres perpendicular to the path.
While you are doing this cache, take advantage of the facilities situated around the lake and in the forest. You can take a boat trip on a minature car ferry amongst other boats on Etang de Ville-Cartier. In the same area the facilities include horseriding, ice creams, restaurant, archery, mountain bike hire and high/low ropes assault course. Some of the attractions are seasonal but even if not everything is available, it is still a great place for a picnic and walk.

Du parking, le co-ordinates au-dessus de l'avance vous arrondissez en partie le lac et le long du chemin « Route forestiere de Villey » où vous verrez un grand et distinctif rocher 3 mètres dans la forêt. Marcher dans la forêt, près d'au rocher, pour approximativement 25 mètres, la perpendiculaire au chemin.
