In the hills at the foot of Poteau Mountain is a secret place of
such beauty, I have only shared it with my closest friends. This is
your chance to find it!
This cache will introduce you to the most beautiful place around.
There are several routes to it from the Coaldale, Arkansas area.
The land around the falls is reclaiming mining land that is now
public. You may have to obtain landowner permission to pass gates,
depending on your choice of approach.
One wild yet fun approach would be to access the dirt roads atop
Poteau Mountain. You can enter the roads near Heavener Runestone
State Park. Please study topographic maps before you leave and make
sure you understand that this cache will not be easy cheesy.
Final advice: Go no closer to the strip pit
than you must.
