Cache is a small green ammo can.
Short easy walk along an informative trail.
Cache is hidden under a large rock & covered w/ leaves. Please cover back up when you leave. Once you locate it, enter from SW side. It is located so as not to do any damage to the terrain.
Follow the trail & read all the small plaques along the way. Besides learning something, one contains a clue to your cache. Be careful in this area since you are on a mountain of rock which can be very slick if wet or frozen. A "pokeing stick" & a small flashlight might be helpful since different things live under rocks! You should also have your compass.
PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ANY TRAVEL BUGS!!! CACHE WAS RECENTLY STOLEN!!!
After finding the cache, follow the blue arrows on your way back out to complete the loop.
This is a very neat area that shows some signs of abuse & neglect over the years but it's still worth the trip. I saw numerous birds & a red fox squirrel (kinda rare I think)
