Geocache Description:

A nice drive down the country road to see some of the areas of Princeton that aren't frequented or explored as often.

The Tulameen & Blakeburn areas have been explored so much with caches over the last few years we thought we'd take you to this side for a change. While exploring the area that Mercrocks brought us to we noticed what we originally thought was an outhouse (but you'd have to be a midget to fit in there..lol).

So in our insatiable curiosity we got out to see what there was in the area and was suprised to see so many relics here as well, structures, foundations you name it!

Really makes one wonder how something that was so substantial such a short time ago can so quickly disapear....

If we were to leave our homes for a 100 years would they disapear and crumble as well?

While you're here you've got to make the small bit of travel left from here to see Sinking Well - it is a Natural Wonder and one of what we feel is the best caches in the area.
We believe this may be the site of Allenby

Allenby
Constructed in 1916, Allenby was the site of the 2,000 ton concentrator and mill plant used to process ore from Copper Mountain. Many concrete foundations remain in Allenby today, along with ruins of what once was a busy company town that had 68 homes and all the comforts required by a community.
Is it? Is it not? Right now an assumption that we must research - does another adventure await us?
Photos to come once we confirm!

Make sure to look around and explore up here - you'll likely be happy with what you find!
