Geocache Description:

As our contribution to Chookies’ Fun & Exciting Caching Activity, maccamob’s one hundred and nineteenth cache takes you to a place where you can let your imagination run free, with a suitable story for the young-at-heart.

Once upon a time in Nar Nar Land, the children were very sad, as the wicked blue witch had taken some of their favourite toys. She had hidden them away in a secret place, but a good fairy left hidden clues, disguised as pictures painted on walls around the town, for the children to follow. But which pictures are the important ones? Can you find the clues that will lead you to the missing toys? The posted coordinates will place you near the entrance to a small car park. The picture clues you need can all be found within about 50m of this spot. You can look for them in any order you like.

The Milk Train
What is the engine number? = K ABC
How many milk churns are not yet inside the train? = D

Motor Garage
What is the number on the blue car? = EFG-HJK

Fire Brigade
How many firemen standing around the fire engine? = L

Grover’s Store
You can see a bit of this store in another picture too – you want the one with Grover’s horse and cart out the front this time. Can you see the rooster, some hens and chickens?
How many hens are there? = M

Nar Nar Goon Hotel
This might be a bit tricky. How many horses can you see? = N
How many people are riding in carts pulled by their horses? = P

Now you should have enough information to be able to find the witch’s secret place.
Go to S 38º 04.(A+B)G(M+N), E 145º 35.E(D+H)(L-P). When you get there, beware, in case the wicked witch is still watching you.

Please note that the wicked blue witch was kidnapped some time after January 2013, and is therefore no longer guarding GZ.

As usual, please ensure the cache is well hidden, and that all the camouflage is arranged exactly the same way as you found it, before you leave. Please also don't give anything away in your logs. There are several more murals around town, including one at the Soldiers Memorial Hall (S 38º 4.975, E 145º 34.444). Take a little time to explore them all and see how people lived in those days.
