Když se podíváte na datum publikace kešky (24.12.2012), hned vám bude jasné, proč zrovna vánoční Libštát. Ano, keška byla vlastně založena jako vánoční dárek. V naší rodině jsem asi před 3 roky zavedli milou "povinnost" vymyslet a udělat vylosovanému příbuznému jeden ručně vyrobený dárek. Pro osobu, kterou jsem si letos vylosoval, bylo opravdu dost náročné vymyslet šikovný nápad, a tak jsem si řekl po dlouhém přemýšlení, proč ne kešku... Až ji budete držet v ruce, uvidíte, jak jsem to pojal a doufám, že se ten dárek bude líbit nejen té milované osobě, ale i všem ostatním, kteří ji najdou...
Od kešky je moc hezký výhled na obec Libštát, který se nachází v jihovýchodní části okresu Semily, v podhůří Krkonoš ve výšce 360 m n.m. Rozkládá se po obou březích řeky Olešky mezi městy Stará Paka a Semily a na silnici mezi městy Lomnice nad Popelkou a Jilemnice. Počet obyvatel cca 1020.
Nejlepší přístup je od silnice směrem na Svojek (viz waypoint), kde se dá nechat auto a vydat se severním směrem. V zimě je občas problém vyjet kopec (když jedete směrem od Libštátu), pak je možné auto zaparkovat po levé straně cca v 1/3 kopce u hřbitova. Kešku prosím vracejte do původního stavu!

When you look at the publication date of the cache (24DEC12), you'll know why I called it Christmas Libštát. Yes, the cache was actually founded as a Christmas gift. About 3 years ago we've introduced in our family the lovely "duty" to come up and make for a allotted relative one handmade gift. It was really difficult to devise a handy idea for a person who I allotted this year. So I said myself - why not a cache ... Holding it in your hands you will see how I realized it and I hope that this gift will enjoy not only the beloved person but also to all others who find it ...
From the cache there is a very nice view of the village Libštát which is located in the southeastern part of the district Semily, in the foothills of the Giant Mountains at an altitude of 360 m above sea level. It lies on both banks of the river Oleška between the towns of Stará Paka and Semily and on the road between the towns of Lomnice nad Popelkou and Jilemnice. Its population is about 1,020 people.
The best approach is from the road toward the village Svojek (see the waypoint), where is also possibility to park. Then take the path in the northern direction. Sometimes, during winter, there is a problem to go up to the hill when you are driving from Libstat. Then it's possible to park near the cemetery in about 1/3 of the hill. Please return the cache to its original state!
