south side of the C&D canal. Terrain could be rough at times. your looking for one of my 30 cal ammo cans
I was told that my caches were sometimes too close to the road but a good hide. I do not suggest driving to the cache. I was told that 4 wheeling is not allowed off the normal roads at the canal. I talked to a ranger who said that as long as the road is there you can drive on it (but not to 4 wheels). You are not allowed to drive across fields due to the damage it might cause. Use your common sense. I suggest parking under the bridge and enjoy the walk. The area has it all tall grass, deep ruts and can be muddy at times but still not a bad walk. Should be fun. There is public hunting in this area in the fall. Always be safe and ware orange if going out. When you find the cache please put back and try to cover it back up so it can not be seen.
