Hutton Hill Seasonal Cache

About The Cache
This is a cache designed to reflect the different seasons and the various celebrations that occur within them. The idea is that the finder tries to leave something seasonal. The cache is located on Hutton Hill, which can be accessed via footpaths from the Roman Road (Bleadon), Hutton or Canada Coombe. This cache can be found along with our Loxton Hill Views cache. It is currently stocked full of Spring themed items. Suggested parking is in the layby on the right hand side of the Roman Road (when driving from Bleadon). Just before you get to the monument about the Mendip Hills and the turning circle (which will be on your left). Take the public footpath to your left which heads to the side of a farm, and then follow the footpath towards Hutton Hill woods. The cache is situated shortly after you climb over a stile to enter the woods.
About The Cache
This cache is hidden on the side of a bridleway that runs between the Roman Road in Bleadon to the footpath that runs around the Christon Plantation. The area becomes very muddy during wet weather, it is advisable to wear suitable footwear. From the bridleway, there are views over Canada Coombe and Elborough to the motorway. Suggested parking is in the parking space on the left hand side of the Roman Road, as you come from Bleadon, before the road bears left to Upper Canada This cache is part of our Hillside Views series, the others are Loxton Hill Views, Alternative Motorway View
