A Thousand Words Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

NCPositronics: Waning interest in this cache no longer justifies the amount of maintenance required, so I retrieved all items from the woods today. Thank you to all who took the time to look for this one. I hope you had as much fun looking for it as I did setting it up!

Geocache Description:

The above coordinates are NOT actually part of this cache; they would put you in the middle of Liberty Reservoir. You might at some point find yourself in a protected area. You can and should accomplish your objective by staying on the marked trail and the very short but well-traveled side trail.

Please note: Liberty Reservoir is a bow hunting area from September through January. Please take appropriate precautions during those months.

On his deathbed, an old map-collecting friend of mine gave me a diskette containing only the picture below:

He claimed the picture would lead me to a cache. With his last gasp he uttered the word 'maps' . . .

Final cache container is a medium-sized black metal box, kept dry by a 2-1/2 gallon Ziploc bag. FTF takes home four Lottery scratch-offs.
