BEWARE OF NETTLES!
An easy find, this cache is located amongst what probably should be called 'den city.' It was here in the late 70s that a friend of mine spotted a family of foxes. Actually, the fox cubs were seen on top of the grassy knoll a dozen or so yards to the east of the cache. Inside the log book is an iridescent silver star waiting to be taken by the first person to find 'The Fox Den.' From now on I plan to have one of these trademark stars in every one of my new caches as a reward for the first person who finds each one. Please take it if you want it or not. This type of star is the 'blue ribbon' I give to any of my students that get first place on a test. I am fascinated with how badly even 12th graders want one of these them. As a motivation for continued excellence, one student even taken her supply to college. 
Please replace the bottle in an upright position between the two pieces of material that are holding it in place. Thank you!
The original geogoodies include pencil paraphernalia including a sharpener, a pair of anaglyph 3D glasses, washers, rubbers bands, a suction cup and Devonian fossils from near Rockford, Iowa.
I have recently noticed on topozone.com that there used to be a driveway leading to this location. There was a building near here as well which may explain the reason why there is a big pile of cinder material here.
