This is the first stash in the Cleveland Metroparks. It is hidden in the vicinity of a little used trail in the South Chagrin reservation. The Sulphur Springs creek runs through this area on its way to the chagrin river, and has cut some beautiful rock formations and waterfalls on the way.
To get there, park your car at the "Sulphur Springs" parking lot in the South Chagrin Reservation off of Sulphur Springs Drive. The parking lot is located at (N 41° 25.322' W 81° 25.271'). From there, you will see on your GPS that you are between 300 and 400 feet from the cache, but that reading is a bit deceptive. Remember, its as the crow flies, between you and the cache is some terrain that will probably require climbing gear (at least Crampons during the winter.) However, if you head down the road the parking lot is on, you will eventually come to a path.
This path leads you over sulphur springs creek on a bridge (N 41° 25.273' W 81° 25.453'). Keep following the trail for a few meters after the bridge till you get to (N 41° 25.272' W 81° 25.459'). Once you reach here, you'll want to jump over the little creek to you right, and scramble up the hill. Part way up, you'll see handrails from an old path. Take a right and follow this old path over the top of the ridge. Keep following this path past two benches and down a set of stone steps. Now you are down at creek level. From here, you can follow the remains of the old path along the side of the creek, I recommend following you GPS bearing from here. Take a look here for pictures of the area for extra clues.
