Do you want to see a Watusi ? They are a really cool looking
animal. Please Do not climb over the fence.
The Watusi was originally from Africa and brought to the United
States in the early 1960's. The adult Watusi can range from 800 to
1600 lbs, newborns weigh between 30 and 50 lbs. They are extremely
resistant to drought, heat and direct sunlight. This is because
their huge horns act as a natural cooling system by circulating
blood through to the ends of the horn to disperse the heat before
returning it to the body. They have been moved to the pasture to
the right if you look real hard you may still be able to see them
from GZ. Keep looking they are there somewhere.
