Geocache Description:

This cache is located at 1572 feet of elevation along the south ridge of Mt. McGinty where there is a great view of Mt. Helix to the west. On a clear day, you can see downtown San Diego, Pt. Loma, the ocean, and the islands off the coast of Mexico.

I hope you are able to hike to this cache on a clear day when the views are really spectacular. To the southwest you can see Mt. Miguel.

The cache is a small pill container containing a few small trade items. Please replace it in its hiding spot just as you found it.

You can hike to this location from the trailhead along Jamul Drive, or use "You Can Cache" (GCPMXD) near the Hidden Trail/Hidden Wood/Hidden Ridge parking area as the starting point.
