This is a traditional letterbox cache. Use the clues and directions below to find it. (Apparently you are no longer allowed to just provide clues to find one anymore, so the final coordinates are in a waypoint. I will leave the clues if you want to actually do it the old fashioned way) You do not need to leave the trail for any circumstances until you reach Ground Zero and even then, its only a few feet off the trail. No bushwhacking and its definitely not hidden in any ferns.
(1) Park just south of these coordinates. Plunge north on the trail. Depending on the time of year, shrubbery may grow across the narrow path. Start your odometer at the listed coordinates.
(2) In about 450 feet you will notice a cut log surrounded by 3 sets of double trees. Keep going north.
(3) Another 0.08 miles (270 feet as a crow flies). Large stumps stare at you along the path.
(4) FYI, a small deer trail will show up on your left. Ignore that left turn unless you want to chase chipmunks who chatter.
(5) 0.05 miles (225 feet as a crow flies), you will reach your first real decision point as far as trails go, a 4 way intersection. Go straight, you will pass a very large stump soon after.
(6) 0.03 miles (100 feet as a crow flies), you will see the Bridge of Death. Answer any questions old men ask you here correctly of course. Cross it.
(7) 0.05 miles (165 feet as a crow flies) You will be climbing up a hill and reaching a fork in the road. Take a right.
(8) 0.08 miles (380 feet as a crow flies) after your right turn, just off the trail on your right as the path heads down will be 2 logs on top of each other. Your cache is just there. Just off the trail, no need to step off of it, kinda at the point logs criss cross. Congrats!
