This park was acquired in 2000 with the assistance of DNR Stewardship funds. This park is in the early stages of developments with the focus of the park to be on passive recreation. The park consists of multi-purpose trails that run from the wetlands area at the lower end of the park through areas of oak savanna to the rock quarry at the summit of the bluff that overlooks portions of the City of Onalaska. The Greens Coulee Community Park is the central linkage of the Central Greenway System, connecting the eastern parts of the city to the west. So take a deep breath and start up the trail. Keeping in mind there are other caches up here, and the view is great.
