THE TOMB OF LORD JIMBO (Camel Trail 4, Riyadh) Multi-Cache
M&Ms: Our culture was to provide interesting caches with a suitable reward when found. We liked to present a challenge but use clues to avoid DNFs. This cache was one our favourites. On reaching the final coordinates, which were correct for the cache’s location, the seeker was likely to be some distance from the cache. The challenge was determining how this could be. M of M&Ms.

This offset cache is technically a multi-cache. The coordinates listed are for a small chest, en route to the final site, that contains the coordinates of the cache proper. Please note the 4* for difficulty in finding the final cache.
Scarinian’s archivist note: Including the chest, that you need to find first, ensures you are on the right route. It is on the path you need to follow. The following is from the log of Scarinian: I stood at the top of the wadi; head bowed resting on the Enchanted Sword of Scalim point reversed. It was at this place that Lord Jimbo of Al Ramaison had met his end. The cortege proceeded slowly towards me. The body of Lord Jimbo rested upon his loyal, favourite, steed The Landrover. Laying beside him was his wife the Lady Lyn. The pall was borne by Lord Craichton, Lord Fawith, Lord Tallie and Lord Dalworth. On the pedals of the Landrover were Jimbo’s boots heels on the pedals conforming to the tradition brought back from future times when the boots of a fallen warrior were placed in his steed’s stirrups reversed. The cortege came to a halt and the Old Widow Hag from Kingdom spoke through the Enchanted Sword of Scalim proclaiming thus “Though Lord Jimbo fought valiantly alongside Scarinian he was primarily an M&Ms and it is they who must place his spirit to rest”. At that moment an Emirates Eagle descended and taking the body of Lord Jimbo and Lady Lyn it left a crystal casket containing their spirits. I took the casket and, after a moments silence, I passed it to the M&Ms who in return gave me a small silver chest in which they had placed the coordinates of the final resting place. The place would look towards the mighty waterfall that Jimbo so loved but it would not be placed in the obvious spot for fear of tomb robbers but somewhere very close by. I then watched M&M’s turnabout and take the crystal casket back down the Wadi. I, for my part, then placed the silver chest under the rock ledge on which I stood and concealed the entrance with stones.
We would be very grateful that on leaving the cache site you conceal any signs of your presence and that you do not record on your log anything which might give away its location including the content of any photographs.
