Der Raupenberg / Roubený
Zwischen Neustadt und dem böhmischen Lobendau (Lobendava) liegt der 461m hohe Raupenberg, über den die deutsch-tschechische Grenze führt. Er war einst ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel der Neustädter und Langburkersdorfer und war bekannt für die gute Aussicht in alle Himmelsrichtungen. Heute ist der Gipfel mit Gestrüpp und Bäumen zugewachsen und es führt nur ein schmaler Pfad auf der Grenzlinie hinauf. Vom Cache aus hat man aber einen weitläufigen Blick nach Westen bis ins Elbtal.
Am 10. September 1779 besuchte Kaiser Joseph II.den Raupenberg, in Begleitung von General Broun und des Fürsten v. Lichtenstein. Sein Aufenthalt währte mehrere Stunden und er war von der Aussicht äußerst beeindruckt.
Auf der Nordseite des Berges verläuft die Landstraße nach Lobendau. Unmittelbar hinter der Grenze standen bis 1945 zwei Häuser, das größere war das böhmische Zollhaus, das kleinere das beliebte Gasthaus "Zum Raupenberg". Nach Kriegsende und der Vertreibung der deutschen Bevölkerung wurden die Gebäude geplündert, verfielen rasch und wurden abgerissen.
Einer alten Überlieferung zufolge, befand sich auf der sächsischen Seite des Berges einst eine Raubritterburg, an die der Name des Berges erinnert. Sie stand auf der Höhe nordwestlich des ehem. böhmischen Zollhauses, nur wenige Schritte von der Straße entfernt. Dort ist man wiederholt auf Mauerreste gestoßen, auch wurden beim Graben und Ackern Hufeisen, Sporen und Speere gefunden.
Der Cache befindet sich auf der sächsischen Seite des Berges, unmittelbar an der Grenze (ca. 5m entfernt). Bis zum höchsten Punkt sind es von da aus noch ca. 40 m.

Between Neustadt and Lobendava lies the 461-m-high Raupenberg / Roubený over which the German Czech border leads. Once it was a popular destination of the Neustadt and Langburkersdorf inhabitand and was known for the good view in all directions. Today the summit with undergrowth and trees has become overgrown and no way takes up it, only a narrow path on the borderline. However, from the Cache one has an extensive look to west till Elbe river valley.
On the 10th of September 1779, Austrian emperor Joseph II. visited the Raupenberg, in company of general Broun and the prince von Lichtenstein. His stay lasted several hours. The view of the Raupenberg tied up the emperor so that he looked around long and gave to his surprise repeatedly expression.
On the north side of the mountain the country road runs to Lobendava. Immediately behind the border two houses stood till 1945, the bigger one was the czech duty house, the smaller one a popular inn.
According to an old tradition, was on the Saxon side of the mountain once a predatory knight's castle of which the mountain name reminds. She stood at the height northwesterly of the former czech duty house, only few steps away from the street. There one has bumped repeatedly into wall leftovers, were also found with the ditch and acres of horseshoe, spores and spears.
The Cache is on the Saxon side of the mountain, immediately on the border. Up to the highest point these are from there still about 40 m.

Mezi Neustadt a Lobendava leží 461 m vysoký Roubený, po kterou nemeckou ceské hranice vede. Kdysi to bývala oblíbeným cílem Neustadt a Langburkersdorf obyvately a byl známý pro dobrý výhled do všech smeru. Dnes summit s podrostem a stromy se stala zarostlá a žádný zpusob, jak to zabírá, jen úzká cesta na hranici. Nicméne, z cache jeden má rozsáhlý pohled na západ do údolí Labe.
Na 10. zárí 1779, rakouský císar Josef II. navštívil Roubený, ve spolecnosti obecne Broun a prince z Lichtensteinu. Jeho pobyt trval nekolik hodin. Pohled na Roubený svázaný císare, aby se rozhlédl po dlouhé a dal ke svému prekvapení opakovane výraz. Na severní strane hory silnici vede k Lobendava. Hned za hranicemi dva domy stály až do roku 1945, vetší z nich je povinnost Ceský dum, menší oblíbené hospody.

Až k nejvyššímu bodu, jsou tyto odtud ješte asi 40 m.
