Geocache Description:

Located in the Magical Forest of Arden. An easy find to prepare you for the caches of the Harding Trail.

Madame Helena Modjeska -- for whom Modjeska Canyon and Mount Modjeska are named -- was a Polish actress who came to California to found a utopian community near Anaheim. When she and her noble friends discovered that farming involved sore backs and hay fever, she returned to her profession. In her first American performance, she played Ophelia in Shakespeare's Hamlet, delivering all her lines in Polish! She learned English and became famous for her Shakespearean portrayals. Her house is located near this cache on a private road. Visit the Tucker Nature Sanctuary up the road for information about visiting hours and tours.

The coordinates are meant to bring you to a spot on the main road near the entrance to Modjeska's Forest of Arden. Using the spoilers may be essential. The trees and power lines do strange things to GPS down here.

The cache is a prescription drug container spray-painted to blend in with the surroundings. There is only a log sheet.
