Geocache Description:

Sometimes you just have to put something somewhere....

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. But the actual
coordinates are somewhere on this page. Nice and
easy.

I was out exploring Wharton one day when I came upon a metal bar
across what could have been a driveway long ago. Stopping my truck,
I got out and looked around. What could have been the remains of a
gun club or similar type of building loomed in the distance. It was
long empty and I couldn't resist nosing around a little.

It was a very cool area, but a little creepy. The building was
locked up tight, but there were weird inscriptions in graffiti all
over the sides.

As I walked around the building I inspected all sides. _ There, spray
painted on what appeared to be the front, were coordinates. I
walked around to the side and the same coords were there.

I ran back up to the truck and grabbed my GPSr and plugged them in.
4 miles away. Off I went after snapping a couple of
pictures.

As I was driving to the coords, I ran into (almost literally) the rest of my caching buddies and asked them to join me on my quest. When we got to the area the coords took us to, with the exception of
a little circular clearing around a bush, there was nothing there
worth noting. So what else to do? Put something there I
guess.....

Note: I am not posting the coordinates to the building to prevent
it from being vandalized and because, even though my maps did not
have it listed as private property, it may be and I do not want
anyone in trouble for trespassing. However, if anyone recognizes
the building in question from my description above, please send me
an email or post here any information you have....
Note 2: I let aufbau and grozecki sign the log because they trudged through the woods with me on my folly. The FTF is still up for grabs however!!!
