Ship's Log, Escape Pod Foxtrot reporting. Separated from
Mother Ship at 081202 local time with Shuttle
Craft Charlie . Earthling know as Hazard transported us over a
Mountain Range and down a raging river! The entire crew was
violently seasick for a time.
Departed Shuttle Craft Charlie at 090802 local in the company of
Earthling Uplink, who proceeded to lose control descending a huge
scree slope causing moderate injuries to the crew, and minor damage
to the Earthling's navigational device. At least we didn't have to
venture back out on that mass of roiling water known as Yakima.
After spending one lunar cycle traveling with Uplink, we bailed
out at a site that allows us to observe operations of the locals
heavier that air transports. We immediately set up an access
control point which allows us screen local traffic while observing
the locals playing a stick and ball game. We are keeping the crew
distracted by employing them as scorekeepers for this game
(disguised of course).
The only disadvantage to this site is the tremendous noise
caused by the local air transports. We hope to apply for what is
locally known as a "port package" which will supply us with extra
spacecraft insulation.
We will continue to observe while awaiting further orders.
