Presents this geocache highlighting a bit of the history of our beautiful city and the surrounding valley.

This geocache is part of the Sequim Centennial History Challenge series.

The Sequim Prairie Grange

Established in 1942, the Sequim Prairie Grange meets in Macleay School (also celebrating its 100th birthday), which the members bought from the Sequim School District in the early 1960's. There are approximately 230 members at this time.

Sequim Prairie Grange is an active Grange. Each year they have six Pancake Breakfasts, two Flea Markets, a March of Dimes Pie Social, and four Ice Cream Socials. The Grange donates many of the proceeds from these fundraisers to local nonprofit organizations.
