Come on out for a day of caching fun on May 5th. We are starting
the day off with a pancake breakfast at Ft. George Park (53 54.361N
122 44.095W) between 8:30 and 10:30. On the way to the event you
might want to do the FT. George Cache.
We will also be having a closets to the pin game to keep the
little and big kids entertained. We will have a list of the five
poker caches located around town for people to go looking for after
breakfast. These will take you past other great cache hides. These
caches will be released May 4th for those people who have to work
saturdays.
To wrap up the day we will be having a meet and greet at the Great
Wall Resturant (53 53.688N 122 45.518W) We will start the evening
at 7:00pm. Here we will annouce the winner of the Poker Cache, the
Provincal Cache Blitz and the closets to the Pin competion. Icenrye
will be available to help people with any questions they have on
Paperless Caching. We will have an area set up for travel bugs,
geocoin, and signature item exchange. This would be great place to
start your travel bugs from.
Please advise us if you will be attending either the breakfast,
dinner or both, and how many people will be in your group. We will
be charging $2.50 for the pancake breakfast. This is to help cover
the cost of the park rental and other expenses.
Although it is not a requirement, it would be greatly appreciated
if guests that can afford it, would please bring along a prize to
be used for door prizes !
