This cache is another in the Tiny Often Empty Park series. It's located just off US 22 in or adjacent to the Cushetunk Rest Area, located on westbound old Route 22/NJ 28 right across from the Ryland Inn, a premiere New Jersey dining spot. You cannot access this area from the eastbound side - you have to use one of the many center divider turnarounds and go back west.
This park has a few picnic tables and a memorial dedication to those who served in WWII. There are no rest room facilities. The parking area is pretty obvious, and you can also park on the right side of the road just up from the parking area. Either way, you will only be a few feet from the cache.
This area tends to have muggles at lunchtime during the work week who have stopped to take a catnap or eat lunch in their cars or vans. At most other times, it's normally deserted.
The cache has a 1.5 difficulty only because it's probably not wheelchair accessible. Otherwise, this cache would be a 1/1 - it's a quick cache and dash. It's a 2 1/2 x 4 Lock 'n Lock container whose original contents include a log and pencil, a guitar tie/lapel tack, and a newly released travel bug, which is a solid rosewood key fob.
