The container is a surplus military ammo box ("Fuze" box).
There are several items in the box. A DVD movie, a gardners tool belt, a xmas deck of playing cards, plus some other useless items. There's some notecards and a pencil in the cache.
Unfortunately, the area contains litter of fisherman that think the land would look better with a bunch of beer bottles and cans strewn around. But to look past that and listen to the waves hitting the shore on a slightly windy day is calming.
You should park at N 40 9.283' W 82 52.232' along the west side of the road.
If you walk about 300 ft. South of the parking location on the road, you will see an original one-room school house that is owned by the Ohio Historical Society.
