Geocache Description:

Pretty easy cache on a beautiful mountain road - - make sure you bring a camera! Altitude at the cache 5,608. VERY COLD IN WINTER - - DRESS APPROPRIATELY!

We placed this cache partially to honor the firefighters who fought the Cedar Fire and partly for the view! Once things grow back, you may need to do some minor bushwhacking to get to the cache. If you go the right way, it's not too hard to get to! There's a camera in the cache, so please take your picture and make sure to sign the log book. As soon as it's full, we'll develop them and get them up in the gallery. The original cache has some good stuff in it! Original contents included: Log book and instructions & pen GeoBob Coin for First to Find! Camera - please take your picture! Toy Fireman Paradise Fire video/CD taken by Cathedral City Fire Dept (this is VERY cool - - please watch it and pass it on to another cache so everyone can check it out! This video was made by a firefighter on my brother's engine during the Paradise Fire on October 26/27/28, 2003, and that's Jen's little brother that you see throughout the video.)
