erik88l-r: Thanks for the past fun, but this string of "no finds" and "should be archived" has gone on a bit long. People have tired of seeing it on their "nearest cache list".

Welcome to Diablo Foothills Regional Park! Best place to park is at the Livorna Staging Area at N37° 52.244 W122° 00.598 and take to Alamo Trail.
Besides panoramic views of the mountain and its surroundings, Diablo Foothills' 978 acres contain interesting geologic features, beautiful wildflowers in season, and a variety of bird and animal life. There are no developed facilities in the park.
I have been geocaching for only a few months now but it has deeply impacted my sense of awareness of my surroundings. Every time i drive somewhere and see a ridge, i think of caching; when i see dead trees, or a sloping path, or a little cow trail that descends into a valley.
When i am on the hunt for a cache i will look around and think of all the cool places i would put a cache. Often with caching, the cacher can get a sense or feel of where the cache will be when he is about 200' or so from it. The heart starts beating, the body sucks in energy from its surroundings and the tiredness your calves seems to melt away as you begin the final search. It is this feeling and awareness that has led me to place this cache.
The cache is in an camo medicine bottle.. so push down then twist to open..lol.
The Original Contents are various types of currency, both foreign and domestic. Log your name and trade in/out some currency.
And of course, enjoy the rest of the park (there are more caches so do your research!)
