Another one of my cache sites with a view to die for. This one is over 11,000 feet and you can see for miles in all directions.
This cache is about 12 miles of mountain dirt/gravel road. A two-wheel drive will be fine in good weather. Once it starts to snow even a 4x4 will be questionable and by the time you need a snowmobile the cache will be covered anyway. In good weather you can drive to within 200 feet of this cache. You will want to start your drive up the mountain from the city of Monroe.
This is one of those spots where you just want to pull up a soft rock and stare out over the wonderful world for a while.
