Come and join us at this local eatery at 6:30 PM on Thursday 21 August 2014. We will have dinner (optional) and sit around and share Geo Adventures and such and spend some time getting to know one another. I can almost guarantee that you will meet someone new. Geocaching is great but cachers are some of the nicest folks around. Some of us go way back and know one another quite well but there are a lot of new cachers in the area and I know they are wondering who we are.
Bring your bugs/coins and we will trade them amongst us.
You will have fun, you will learn how I got the name “BUTTERDISH” and many more tidbits that may just help you find the next cache. We will have a laptop or two there and can access Geocaching.com and maybe help you out with some issues you might be having. We can also share info about some of the tools we all use. This will also count for an “August Badge” for an event.
Oh yeah, there is one more thing, something special, it …… yeah right like I’m going to tell you here what that is. You are just going to have to come and see. To my knowledge it has not been done around here yet. Please sign up with a “Will attend” log so I can tell the eatery just how many cachers are going to be there.
