This cache is located within Police Officer Nicholas DeMutiis Park.
This park is named in honor of Nicholas DeMutiis, a dedicated police officer who worked in this neighborhood and died in the line of duty on January 25, 1994.
The cache is in a small container (the size of a film canister) containing a log only. BRING YOUR OWN PEN. Finding, signing and replacing this cache without attracting any attention will be hard. Please use extreme discretion in removing, signing and replacing the cache. This park is extremely busy so please keep your eyes open. The next door neighbors watch this park day and night. Don’t park on 101st Street. The park is open 6 am to 9 pm.
No climbing, weed whacking or fence hopping needed and no Poison Ivy
