Geocache Description:

The only geocache that is in four states at once! This one's not virtual, but the real thing. Pay your $2.00 to the friendly Navajo at the gate and go hunting at a National Landmark!

From US 64, between Teec Nos Pos AZ and Middle of Nowhere CO, turn into the Four Corners Monument where the admission is $2.00 per person to the park site. If you haven't been, don't be expecting Disneyland, but instead you'll get a cool geographic monument, a "museum" and the opportunity to buy "authentic" indian souvenirs at highly negotiable prices. Maybe you'll even get to pet or feed a horse!

To find the cache proceed directly to the brass marker at the center of the monument, the very spot where the borders of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona intersect at perfect right angles. (N36° 59.940 / W109° 02.709) on the center marker you will see a four digit number engraved (hidden behind my Etrex in photo).

The Cache container is located a short (about .25 mile) distance away in Colorado, at the following coordinates N36° 59.XXX / W109° 02.438. The .XXX is the LAST 3 DIGITS OF THE NUMBER ON THE BRASS MARKER!

For the Benchmark bagger, on the way to the hiding place another less noticed marker can be seen on a small concrete pedestal (see pic).

The Cache Contains:

3 Mechanical Pencils; Logbook; Pen from The Red Rooster Cafe, AZ; old Railroad Spike from Santa Fe Railroad, Winslow AZ; Metal AF Captain rank pin; Highlighter pen; Red Rocks from Sedona AZ "vortex"; Air Force Space Command trading cards; Mardi Gras Coin from Galveston TX.
