This cache is part of a "Home School" Project for my 5 year old Andrew. It is to demonstrate how many nations have come together to build this one great nation we live in. To begin this cache, we have drawn from my wife's and my heritage. She is Dutch; hence we have a "little Dutch girl clay figure". I am of mixed lineage, (mostly European)so we added a German knight figure and a pewter Celtic Cross. I also spent some time in Japan so we have some patches from the Japanese Self Defense force. Grandpa and Grandma have gained the First to find!! Also recieve my thanks for helping me correct the location. One other item is a "First to Find Wooden Nickel". Please if you are first to find...take the coin! *tell any muggles who may ask, that your helping with a home schooler's Social Studies Project... When you log this cache; remember to state a bit of your heritage to help in his project Thanks; Falcon Loader.

Today I wanted to grab some of the caches that are the closest to my house. My goal is to remove all active caches within 10 miles. I had 7 in mind. Well I found two and got another DNF to add to my list but that isn't the important part of my story. The important information is that I started the day in semi-clean jeans, tennis shoes, and a hoodie and ended my day in a pair of swim trunks a t-shirt, hiking boots without socks and smelling like a sour fart.. At one of the caches, I ended up waist deep in what I hope was only stinky mud.

This cache took me longer than it should have. The container description is no longer accurate. I ended up spotting the cache after I had given up and was on my way back up the hill.

My family is mostly polish but we have only researched the American portion of our family history so far.

[Found with the Scrapple-ers in the rain. We had a chuckle when we saw] Ebire'f Eryvrs [ Searched for a few minutes before I came up with the find. Enjoyed this cache! My great great grandparents were some of the first Swedish immigrants from Sweden. They even posed for a painting done in the dome of a church in Philadelphia, PA. TFTC

Absolutely no luck on this one today, and the GPS was jumping around a bit. The hillside below Rover's Relief was pretty trecherous, with lots of loose grass cuttings and deep piles of leaves.

Very sad about this as we'd planned to drop off a really cool GeoCoin from Denmark to assist with the school project.
