Geocache Description:

Bring the whole family to Columbia Bottom Conservation Area to be modern day explorers through the outdoor sport of geocaching!

What: A Geocaching Introduction Class

Where: Columibia Bottom Conservation Area Visitor Center, 801 Strodtman Road, St. Louis MO 63138

When: 10:00 am - noon


Geocaching is an adventurous activity like a modern day scavenger hunt which ties technology and nature together and is enjoyable for any age. Join us for an introduction on the basics of geocaching and then try your hand at hunting for hidden caches on the area. GPS units will be provided.

This learning program is being offered through the Missouri Department of Conservation and the St. Louis Area Geocachers Association (SLAGA). There is no cost, but we do ask that you call ahead to register. Call the Visitor Center at 314-877-6014 to sign up. Visitor Center hours are Wednesday-Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday-Sunday 8am-4pm.

Interpretive services are available for those with hearing loss with 5 days notice.
