Geocache Description:

A nice, short hike through some of Louisiana's prettiest terrain in the Kisatchie National Forest.

This is our first cache! I took my fiance Becky here to celebrate her birthday on Jan. 16 with a picnic along the trail - complete with gifts, birthday brownies, candles, music, and....a surprise cache to place in her honor! The container is standard-issue tupperware type wrapped in a trash bag, with an assortment of odd items:

56K computer modem, solar calculator, floral design mug, sunglasses, glasses case, toothbrush in package, Florida wallet, Monsters Inc. 'Mike' action figure, Charleston SC banner flag, Blues Clues bib, Toy Story 2 'Zurg' Old Maid playing cards, decorative plant pot butterfly, & earbud headphones.

Please sign the log and cover everything back up after you find it. We hope you enjoy this cache as much as we did placing it!

UPDATE 7/30/05
Becky and I hiked in to check on the cache and found that it's been visited far more than the website logs led us to believe - thanks! Also, thank you to those who gave it some air and helped keep it in good shape. New additions include a mini terracotta pot, leprechaun figure, mini teddy bear, and a whale toothbrush (in pkg).
