Tower 42 - formerly the National Westminster Tower -
was Britain's tallest building between 1980 and 1990 and the
Vertigo 42 bar at the top remains the highest publicly accessible
point in London.
The cache is wheelchair friendly, including access, the grab and
replace.
35mm micro hidden to blend it.
High muggle area, so take extra care. If approached by the
police, explain about geocaching. There's also private security in
the area, so have a camera out, ready to give you the cover of
photographing the tower. There are also many cctv cameras, so avoid
acting too suspiciously. I've included a clear hint to get you in
and out quickly!
FTF bragging rights go to Loony Londo by a short nose; 2
minutes!
Feb 19th update: I'm racing up the 920 steps to the top of
the tower next month for an event called Vertical Rush and there's
an event just around the corner afterwards to help me recover with
a nice sit-down, on March the 3rd:
GC2NKX9 - Recovery Meet in Tower 42's Shadow. Come along if you
can!
