This is a puzzle cache. The cache is not at the listed coordinates. Please solve the puzzle to find the actual coordinates.
Although the dedicated field puzzle lover might solve this one on foot, most will probably prefer the easy way: Google Earth. Below are coordinates for 20 locations in the Salt Lake City area. At one of these locations, you will find a clue for the latitude of the cache and at another, a clue for the longitude. You can either visit each site and hope to spot the clues, or you can eliminate 18 of the locations by puzzling out the list of notes at the end of the listing and then visit only the two that you need.
-
You can copy and paste the coordinates below into Google Earth.
-
Use both the satellite and Street View images, as needed.
-
The clues are not visible in Google Earth. Once you have determined which sites contain the clues, you will need to visit them non-virtually.
-
When collecting the onsite clues, it might prove most efficient to visit the northernmost site last.
-
If you depend on reading glasses, you might be glad to have them.
The cache is at:

And the notes to use. Each one should eliminate one site. The sites are NOT:
□ At a dead-end (but not a circle).
□ Illustrative of a David Gilmour album.
□ In Hobbitville (sadly, "formerly" may apply now).
□ Outside a good spot for Gratinée à L'oignon.
□ Outside one of 278 North American chapters.
□ Near a humorously risque Fire Elemental cache hidden in 2006 (and archived in 2018 - GCXCWQ).
□ At an elevation within a few feet of the elevation of Mt. Aso.
□ 3.14159 (looking east).
□ Conducive to viewing a late-night independent/artsy flick.
□ Across the street from a major luthier hangout.
□ Near a winery aligned with the cardinal points of the universe.
□ On a street whose name shares a word with a June 24, 2008 Mom the Cook cache.
□ Anagrammatic of alien elk.
□ here. No l_ck one mile due north, either.
□ here either. This is not the place.
□ On a street that, were it in a new subdivision, would be every realtor's worst nightmare.
(Remember to scroll up and down to make street names visible).
□ Within view of male ruminants.
□ A latitude anagram of GC17CZZ in Afghanistan. Cache now archived - you can still find it with a Google search.
