Wingerts-Mühle Cache Mystery Cache

Wingert steht für Weingarten. Und den gab es auf dem, gut 80 Meter hohen, Hügeln zwischen Wassenberg und Erkelenz. 1778 kam zu den Reben eine Mühle hinzu. Die Flügel drehten sich bis 1884. Ein Blitz machte der Arbeit ein Ende. Und die Rebstöcke wichen einer dichten Bewaldung. Am Fuße der Turmruine entstand ein Zeltlagerplatz.

zurück zu Punkt 3 nehmen. Die Gesamtlänge beträgt dann ca. 2,5km

"Wingert" stands for vineyard and was present on the 80m high hill's between Wassenberg and Erkelenz. 1779 a mill was build beside the vines where the wind-wings rotate until 1884. A bolt of lightning ends up the work of the wind-mill. Later on, a camping ground aroused at the bottom of the ruin.
