Geocache Description:

BELLY BUTTON

(Did Adam have one?)

WARNING: Finding this cache may involve reflecting on your navel!

NOTE: Performing the homework for this cache may provide hilarity for the whole family.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Artists and sculptors often make use of aesthetic ratios for body dimensions in their work. One particular ratio is the ratio of the navel height to overall height of people. So if you have a belly button (navel), you may find an approximation of this ratio by standing up straight against a wall with unshod feet flat on the floor while someone measures the height of your belly button from the floor (B) and your overall height (H). Divide B by H to get your particular ratio (R). Unless you have a very unusual body shape, your ratio should be close enough to the theoretical ratio to enable you to find this cache! Don’t worry if you have an ‘innie’ or an ‘outtie’, it doesn’t matter!

Now that you have determined R, go to the posted coordinates (N45 20.978 W075 36.273). There you will find a BLACK tag with the coordinates of a position which will represent your foot. Go to that position. There you will find a BLACK tag with the coordinates of a position which will represent your head. The cache is at the position which would represent the position of your belly button. Go find it! The cache that is!

The cache container is an ammo can, camouflaged.

The cache is well-hidden, on the ground, but sheltered so it is winter-friendly (unless the snow is very deep).

Please rehide the cache exactly as you found it.

Estimated hiking time to the cache and return is less than an hour.

Kid-friendly, dog-friendly, winter-friendly!

Enjoy!
