Books! Food for the mind.
Located a half mile from the Point Woronzof Park. This is a great area to take in the view and sit on a bench reading a good book. I really like this area during high tide. I love the sound of the waves on the shore down below.

Cache is an ammo box painted grey. It is full of books of various kinds. Westerns, Romance, History, Humor, True life, Spy novels. Even the log book is a real book (a gift from my wife). Cache is pretty full, so if you plan on leaving a book, you had better be prepared to take one.
(visit link)
All the starter books in this cache have been registered with Bookcrossing.com. It is like a wheresgeorge site for books. When you are done with a book, feel free to leave it somewhere where another will find it and enjoy it.

For added fun, I made a couple decoy stick piles in the area. Which holds the cache? Is the cache even covered by sticks? Only one way to find out! There is even a benchmark nearby as well. The witness post is clearly visible when you are in the area. Unfortunately, I cannot find it in the USGS database.

Have fun, enjoy the views, sit back and grab a book.

My hubby got to find this one (on his first caching adventure ever). He's was home on r &r and brought his gps (i just use my iphone til he gets home) and it took him right on top of it, he was so proud! TFTC it was a GREAT first one for him to find (one of the big ones w/ all the goodies :D it got him hooked) I dropped a coin i've been holding for a while, i wanted to take it to CO w/ me this winter, but doesn't look like i'll be making it so hopefully someone else can help it along its journey :)
