Geocache Description:

Most people have heard of the Bermuda Triangle , but there have also been mysterious unexplained events in an area of North Wales. This area is now becoming known as “The Axton Triangle”.

The most recent of these has been the unexplained disappearance of a cheerful local resident, Noddy Curtis , of Axton, whilst on a weekend visit to nearby Colwyn Bay. Although his disappearance has been reported in the media as his break for independence or freedom, or even the possibly of a kidnapping (though no ransom has been requested), there is a third more sinister possibility – alien abduction, especially after the recent reports of the appearance of an Alien Geostalker , in the area!

Looking through local archives has uncovered two other recent unsolved incidents in the same area :

A woman motorist had been in the town of Mold, Flintshire, when her eyes were attracted to the night's sky. Above her she saw an array of white lights "falling" from the sky, too many to count, which she watched for several minutes, unsure as to what they could be.
Later, whilst en route home to Holywell 15 miles away, she was so taken by what she saw next in the sky that she immediately pulled over on Pen-y-Maes Road in the town in the early hours of the morning. The witness says she saw two separate white lights high in the sky and in the distance.
She watched as the objects moved towards her direction and apparently merged into a single big sphere of light. This then moved sideways very slowly and, as it did, red, white and blue lights appeared just under this large ball of light, but not touching it. Then the large ball of white disappeared whilst the smaller red, white and blue semi circles of light flew in unison up into the sky. During the entire sighting in Holywell, the witness said everything seemed to be still, and whole performance appeared in slow motion.

And secondly

Two college students were returning home from their part-time work on Saturday December 28 1985 at 12.30am when they saw an object shoot across the sky. The pair were at Dyserth Crossroads in the Denbighshire village situated high above Rhyl and Prestatyn when the craft's movement attracted their eye.
The students said it was travelling at great speed from the direction of Meliden Quarry towards fields over the A547. As the pair were travelling by car they followed the direction of the object which appeared to have a yellow glow at its centre with green spikes of light. After some miles the craft stopped, hovered and disappeared behind some cloud before re-emerging and apparently flying close to the ground before seemingly landing in an area know as The Meadows just off the A547. The friends plucked up the courage to stop at the scene of the landing and investigate further. But when they peered over hedging they could see nothing.
A week later on January 4 1986 at 8.30pm, in the neighbouring hamlet of Trelawnyd, four people claimed to have seen a cigar-shaped craft with bright red lights. Earlier on the same day a farmer says he saw a bright red sphere-like object hanging in the sky above trees in the village. He estimated it was some 40ft from one side to the other. Meanwhile, on January 10 at 11.30pm two householders reported seeing an aerial display lasting more than two hours from their suburban street in Prestatyn. They described a red sphere-like object which was joined by a "small shimmering thing" at which point both objects glowed brighter. They also reported seeing a red and green coloured rotating UFO which was joined some distance away by an oblong-craft.

I was recently driving in the area when I too experienced something extra-ordinary, so I pulled over. It went an eerie silent and the temperature appeared to drop a degree or two. A large grey cloud drifted across the sky and then came to a stop overhead, nothing too unusual except that day it had been totally calm.

I remember little else as I’d obviously gone, or been put, to sleep and woke up in the car a couple of hours later. The CD player was on, but not playing music. Instead it was a strange muffled chanting. After listening to it several times its seemed to say :

- Be not afraid, I visit in peace to expand my horizons
- I took your strange tube for cloning. I left you with three and kept one myself.
- They are each left next to your arteries* as metallic beings use these to move around.
- Fleshy parasites appear to live in these beings, sometimes venturing from the metallic beings for short periods of time.
- My name is “Ð¥§” which to you is “Shuffler” – that’s because I swap things around!

Since this experience I have returned to the above co-ordinates and the cache is definitely not there. Can you possibly help to find it, and the other two clones from the clues left behind at the time?

* I take this to mean roads
