Geocache Description:

This is the second in a new series called “cache to Eagle” which highlight Eagle Service Projects by the Boy Scouts of Marin Council. This is an easy hide, good for beginners.

The Photo highlights the Eagle Project site and may or may not include the location of the actual cache, although it will be nearby.

Earn the Cache to Eagle patch! See www.geoscouting.com to learn how.

This nice neighborhood park has several caches nearby - go find the rest. This site had all the picnic tables and benches that you see built in 1995 by a Boy Scout from Troop 71. They provide a great place to sit and watch the creek, the birds and the people.

Scouting provides a tremendous number of service hours to the community. If you took the total hours of community service conducted by the Marin Council in one year and assigned that to a single individual working 40 hours a week…how long would it take them to accomplish the same amount of service? Answer: 18.95 years!
