Park and take a short walk. It should be ok for those with some
disabilities, I think a wheel chair can get to most or all of the
area on a day when the ground is dry and solid.
View the history before you. Read and learn what these stone
formations are called. The answer is clearly written on the site.
E-mail me the answer to not get your log deleted. Please do not
tell the answer in your log entry claim, or I will sadly be forced
to delete it.
This is the oldest group of these formations in Tarrant County
and some claim the oldest in north Texas. I had never seen any of
this style before I went here. There is a good chance you will be
watched and you may be approached by a historical committee type
person wishing to help. These folk may tell you many interesting
things about the very old history of the area if you ask.
My first visit was fascinating and very informative. Cross the
foot bridge for more of this rich history lesson. Please BE SURE to
log your visit so I can watch any positive or negative impact we
have on the area. Thus, we can be responsible stewards of our
privilege to enjoy this virtual cache. Also, I'd like to be able to
give the care takers some idea of the geocache visitors volume.
Thank you for being responsible geocachers. Enjoy this Texas
pioneer history.
