Congrats to Chris Saves on 500 finds! This cache is being placed to commemorate this, our 3rd geocacheversary, and 5 years ago we took home our dog, Clover ( a geopup who is trackable, in case you meet her!) This is also my first geocache I am placing. With so much to celebrate, it was time for me to finally place a cache!
3 years ago, Chris Saves and I decided to find our first geocache, which we did in this very spot! Unfortunately, the cache has been archived. I thought it was a good spot and I liked the idea of keeping catchers coming back. If you found the original, it should be easy! If not, since this is so close to the trail it should be an easy find for beginners like we were! When you get to the park, the cache is most easy accessed by the trail head that does NOT have the sign "King Fisher Park"!
The cache contains a stamp and stamp pad, please do not take these items, they are not swag!
Original swag contains things that remind me of some things Chris Saves likes- animals, libraries/reading, and Halloween. Please wear bug spray in peak season!
Happy Finding!
There is nearby parking or the s74 and s54 buses have nearby stops.
