Berry in the Woods Traditional Cache
Spotty Spotty Pony Girl: Thanks to everyone that has sought and (hopefully) found my cache.
It had a good run and I think my Pap-Pap would have gotten a kick out of it, I know the rest of the family did.

A walk in the woods, but it's not all on the level
Three generations of my family have enjoyed the woods, as we simply called it. My Dad and Uncles grew up playing on the rocks on the hillside. My Pap-pap used to take me fishing in the river, I never really caught much, but I could pick out a properly forked stick for my pole rest at least.
I can’t mention the woods and not remember Pap-pap’s dogs and their daily walk. Once Shade & Load were safely on the path beside the river he would let them off leash. Often Load would wander off and Shade would be sent to bring her back. We’d wait a bit and then we’d see Shade leading Load back by the ear.
Back then the trail down to the woods was an informal path created by folks from the neighborhood. Now there is an official path for vehicles going to the water treatment area. Once beyond that, the path is the same. I always loved going to the woods. I hope you do too.
The cache is a an ammo can and it's pretty easy to get to the trail.
Park at the Pizza Hut and walk across the street to the gate at the end of the bridge. The trail is beyond the gate.
