This cache is in the Ringtail Ridge Greenspace - which was formerly the Hughson Meat Packing Plant. The entrance is a dirt road running along the west side of Dakota Ranch Apartments. You’ll see the dirt road between the apartments and what looks like an old service station called Crestwood. Follow the dirt road all the way back until it ends at some abandoned concrete slabs.
Once in the greenspace, just be sure to stay within the fences of the 40+ acre greenspace. The San Marcos Greenbelt Alliance has been very instrumental in getting this greenspace cleaned up and designing and constructing the trails.
