Geocache Description:

Come to the Copper Coast and join the Copper Coast Cachers for a beach picnic.

This will take place on the Saturday of the January long weekend.

You could "Walk like a geocacher" on the actual beach some of the filming took place!

The picnic will start at about 5pm, and will go until everyone has left (probably after dark). Come for a few hours, or just pop by to say hello. Stay as long as you want.

What to do:

Bring the family. Go swimming, sit and chat, play beach cricket, throw a frisbee; do whatever you would normally do on a beach picnic.

How to get there:

Drive to the given coordinates and look for a pyramid; that's where we'll be. It all depends on tides and other beach users. You can drive your car along this beach (even conventional vehicles).

With the explosion of geocaches to find in this area, why not make a weekend of it?


What to bring:

* Yourself * Your family * Your bathers * Chair(s) to sit on * Your own picnic food & drink * Sporting equipment??

Don't worry about bringing surfboards, as there are no waves (except when the ferry comes in)!
