Where? Location: US Army Corps of Engineer Conference Room
When? Time: 1500 - 1700 Local Date: Halloween '04
Who? Anybody except AIF.
Why? To learn more about this thing called geocaching. Hear about how it works in the states or other free lands. Pick up tips for those that are computer smart. Learn techniques to use in the woods for those that are techno-phobic. Find out about finds and all those funny types of caches like locationless, virtual and events (like this one).
What to bring? Nothing but you, grab a ranger buddy for his own good. Soda's (and water) and some snacks provided. Bring a GPSr or PLGR if you have one (or not).
Door Prizes? Of course there are door prizes. I'm short and unloading stuff.
WHAT TO DO: Please log a "note" and tell me how many people are coming with you. AFTER the event, THEN you may log a find (the smiley face!).
