This is a popular walk with locals, leaving from the wood road opposite the Garrison Rod and Game Club and ending at a splendid view (N 41 23.967' W 73 53.548'). Parking is very limited. Don't worry about the posted signs, the horse trail is open to the public, and you wouldn't want to bushwack this one.
The cache is in a 30 cal ammo can. This cache now has a NYS Office of Parks and Recreation Cache Permit (#F0501) issued 3/2/05 by William Bauman, the park superintendent.
