Geocache Description:

A camo'd ammo can awaits you down a trail filled with skeletal remains of an era gone by.

Benjamin Rush State Park - Far trail - Cache is approved and waiting for you. Head to where the road turns right of continues straight and pull over and look for the trail into the woods on the left. Follow that to the cache. Terrain is a little tougher for this one.

I love it when a cache comes together, Strike Anywhere.

Joshua Bruce, Director Fort Washington & Benjamin Rush State Parks.

Benjamin Rush State Park is located in Northeast Philadelphia, at the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Southampton Road. It was created in 1975 and contains approximately 275 acres of ground. Funds for development of the park have never been allocated by the state, and in 1993, 19.5 acres were given to the Veterans Administration for construction of a Nursing Home. The present status of the park is unclear, more may be lost for commercial development.

Do not attempt to bushwack in from Roosevelt Blvd or the community to the North. It is in a State Park and is only accessible within their guidelines. Thanks.
