Der kürzeste Aufstieg beginnt in der Ortschaft Schrattenbach.
Ein markierter Weg führt direkt bis zur Ruine (Wegzeit ca. 25 min). Weitaus
schöner ist der Wanderweg von Würflach, über das
"Rote Kreuz" und das "Lärbaumkreuz" zur Ruine Schrattenstein
und über die Ortschaft Greith und die wildromantische Johannesbachklamm (hier bietet es sich an, den Cache
GC16CAY zu besuchen.) wieder zurück
(Wegzeit ca. 4,5 Stunden).
Im Cache befinden sich:
1 Logbuch, 1 Bleistift und 1 Cachenote (bitte nicht
entfernen!)
1 toller Holzkeil
1 Packung Klebezettel
1 Ü-Ei-Figur
1 kleines Sushi-Set
1 Teelicht
1 Hautreinigungstuch

The shortest ascent starts in the very small village Schrattenbach.
A marked path guides you direct to the ruin (length about 25 min). Very lovely is the
hiking trail from Würflach via the "Rote Kreuz" (red cross)
and the "Lärbaumkreuz" to the ruin Schrattenstein and via the
village Greith and the romantic Johannesbachflume (Johannesbachklamm) (there you can visit the
cache GC16CAY) back (length about 4,5 hours).
